Located on the upper deck, the Viking Lounge features floor-to-ceiling windows and a serene and leisurely setting, making it a great get-away to enjoy a cocktail with a ever-changing view outside the windows and chat with new friends you've just made on the ship. It is also the venue for most recreational activities, where you may enjoy live music or participate in mini-lectures, craft activities and games.
Located on the bow of the upper deck, the Aquavit Terrance is a leisure semi-outdoor simple meals and snacks between meals. The outdoor seating presents a zero distance dining experience with the changing views on both banks for your European inland river tours. The much-visited Noodle Bar offering childhood Chinese dim sum and snacks is also set here and serves as a perfect rendezvous with your friends.
The dining room on the middle deck offers an elegant atmosphere with familiar hometown flavors, as well as authentic local cuisines and classic Viking dishes from Norway, all accompanied by an ever-changing panoramic view outside the windows. With a capacity of 180 passengers, the dinning room sets 190 seats, so you don't need to make reservations or wait in line, but you may have to share a table, which can be an opportunity to meet new friends.
The reading area on the upper deck offers a collection of hundreds of selected books in English and Chinese. Choosing a book you like or related to your destination and taking your time to digest in this quiet corner will definitely enlighten your journey. Two laptops are equipped in the Internet surfing area. You could check emails and upload travel photos to the cloud album via the free Wi-Fi on the ship.
The sun deck is a great place for you to get soothed and enjoy the 360-degree panoramic view on both banks of the river. You could lie on the lounge chair and enjoy a cozy afternoon, or play shuffle-board and mini-golf with friends and family members. Walking ways for morning exercises and strolls are also set here.
Despite its small size, the Boutique on the middle deck caters to some of your essential/emergency shopping needs during your trip, as well as provides options for some selected gifts, including customized souvenirs with the Viking Cruises brand logo.
All staterooms are located on both sides of the ship, 55% of which have verandas. As there are no intside staterooms on the ship at all, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy the river views no matter which stateroom you choose.
